The Amazing Race... Mahan Edition

Saturday will be a test of endurance, strength and will power. Six people will try to attend 6 sporting events in a 6 hour period. The events are 13 miles a part and it will take 30 minutes to drive one way. This is either The Amazing Race, a bizarre math problem or the Mahan Family trying to make all the races and soccer games scheduled that day. The kids are up to the challenge and will probably leave the adults in the dust.

Between us we will hopefully attend 3 soccer games at two different locations at different times and 3 foot races, thankfully, all at the same location. Somewhere during the shuffling there will be mandatory Starbucks stops which will require inconvenient restroom stops.

Elizabeth has a very full day, 2 soccer games at opposite ends of the day with a 2 mile race in between. Sarah is busy with one soccer game and her foot race and Sam will be running in the morning. Elizabeth has been excited for this day for a long time and Sarah is ready to "beat the boys" to the finish line. Sam just thinks running is cool.

Hopefully we'll win this amazing race and get everyone where they need to be!
